Paul McNeil and Jack Lynch get together in Byron Bay to paint three intergalactic Brown Microwave Television Bonzers.

Brown Microwave Television is a board shaping enterprise founded by Alex Knost and his Byron Bay based friend, surfer and shaper Jack Lynch. The brand focuses on creating surfboards that cater to a variety of surfing styles and conditions, with a particular emphasis on longboards and retro-inspired designs, including the Disco, the Needle, and the Cruizer.

Paul McNeil is an artist based in Byron Bay, known for his work at the intersection of art, music, and surf culture.  McNeil's artistic practice is deeply intertwined with design, and he has been a graphic artist throughout his life. He is co-founder of cult labels Art Park, Sea Cell, Sea Surfboards, and was a Mambo artist.

McNeil's approach to art is s characterised by humour and a sardonic wit, and is influenced by his upbringing in New Zealand and punk rock ethos. His deep knowledge of surf art and culture is evident in the BMT Bonzer art, which pays homage to legendary surfboard artist Martyn Worthington's iconic board art.
